We are committed to a sustainable future and adopt that ethos in all aspects of our business. Ā Our core sustainability principles help us minimise our impact on the planet.
Our principal focus is to support and develop utility scale, distributed and embedded energy generation facilities and to deliver tailored, cost-effective, low-carbon energy supply solutions to our customers under long-term and aligned partnerships.
In collaboration with our partners, we have been: highly ranked by Greenpeace since 2009, including in 2014, 2015 and 2018 Green Electricity Guide as the 5 star renewable electricity retailer; winners of the United Nations āBest Business Environmental Initiativeā in 2010 in partnership with Goulburn Valley Water and the Greater Shepparton City Council and Australian Local Government Awards 2018 Environmental Leadership and Sustainability winners ā with the 15MW Valdora Solar Farm, Sunshine Coast Council.
We have recently committed to going beyond carbon neutral and to measure our performance using the international Green House Gas protocol (GHG) through the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). Through SBTi, we have set the lowest possible target of āwell below 2 degreesā, so that we continue āgenerating changeā in the world and the Australian Energy market.
We are more than 80% Australian owned and are supported by a small cornerstone investment from Hanwha. We actively invest profits back into Australian renewable energy.
